So, here I am presenting some of the best winter destinations in India. These Indian winter destinations can be visited in November, December or January for the best experience. There are some exquisite spots for you to enjoy a winter experience, almost as good as the Alps.

The Chadar Trek
A glorious 6-day trek, this trek is not for the faint of heart! Nestled in the Himalayas, deep in the Zanskar valley, this frozen river trek can propel your nerves of steel in for a joyride. This trek gives you a chance of walking over the frozen river at an altitude of approx 11000 ft. with the temperature from -20 degree to -30 degrees. The terrain changes as the reflections of the Sun vary with the passing day. The trek is extreme, but it is worth it for any adrenaline junkie.
The Kuari Pass Trek
If you love beautiful forests, and the adventurer in you wishes to enjoy alpine trees covered in snow, then head to the Kuari Pass for a trek you will not forget. Sledding in Shimla
The most popular hill station in northern India, Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh famous for its Mall road, the Ridge, toy train etc. among honeymooners and families alike.
